In addition to all the services for marital/couples counseling, I provide a separate plan for couples engaged or planning to get married. In an effort to avoid some of the pitfalls that married couples face it is good idea to get an objective view of the relationship that you currently have and see if it needs to be modified for the committment of marriage.

Along with communication skills and conflict management the following issues will also be explored:

4. Religion

5. Work ethic

6. Medical issues

7. Other

Is pre-marital counseling the insurance policy against divorce?

The answer is no, but it certainly gives you an advantage in being able to see what lies ahead and offers some ways to handle things as they arise.

I do offer a special rate for this service, as most insurance companies do not cover it in their benefits package.
